The house on the left is listed for $1.1 million, but it has 6 bathroom and 6 bedrooms and they have a beach view. The yellow and blue bus is the "Wave", free to ride all over SPI and Port Isabel. This is a new and larger model this year. The Wave has been operating here longer than we have been coming. Looks like someone went home from Spring Break without her shoes. The shoes have been on the power lines since last week. After I went to quilting at Chapel By the Sea this a.m., I rode 15.7 miles this afternoon. This evening I jogged 3.15 miles (41:24). Not very fast, but at least I did it!! I know I lost a few seconds when I had to reach down and pick up a SandDollar on the beach! Beautiful day. There was just enough breeze to feel great blowing in my face. Randy fished, but didn't bring any home. He caught 15, but I think they were all too small. Try again tomorrow.Monday, March 19, 2012
Nice to be able to ride my bike through SPI today without the huge crowds. Last week was "Texas Week" (everyone in TX was here). This week is Spring Break, but not for nearly as many as last week. Was able to ride 15.7 miles, even tho it was windy. Jogged to and on the beach this evening, but only 1.68 mile in 23:33, but it was windy. What other excuses can I use?

Heavy traffic

The Heavy traffic sign was at the end of the bridge. I know the traffic got heavier on the island, but I thought it was plenty heavy on the bridge! Yesterday I rode my bike downtown in the afternoon, knowing it would be busy. The streets were full of vehicles, the sidewalks and bike lanes were full of people. Some places I just walked my bike through &/or with the people until I ould get up the island aways. Decided I should ride today before noon, but it was still quite busy. I stopped at CVS and the IGA, where everyone was stocking up before they partied the rest of the day.
