When you buy a landscaping timber at Home Depot and it's too long for the truck bed, you get out your trusty saw and saw it off there in the parking lot! It needed to be shorter anyway.

Randy made our name sign several years ago that we usually put on the front or back of RV (depending on which way we are parked). This week he put a post in our yard for the sign, which is also to keep other vehicles from driving over our new concrete patio (in the summer when we aren't here). He planted the vegetation yesterday (as well as grass seed next to the patio), and thought we needed some seashells also. I was glad to oblige, although I haven't done much shelling this year. Today was such a beautiful day for shelling, biking (15 miles), walking or any outdoor activity. I found all of these large brown cockle shells this a.m. and also found the coconut on the beach.

I went to a quilt show at Pharr (over in the Rio Grande "Valley") on Friday with quilting friends. So many beautiful quilts, but I think my grandsons would like this one best!

I think this is called kiteboarding. Looks like fun, but I don't think I will be trying it!
