A couple of weeks ago starfish (sea stars) were quite plentiful on the beach. I picked up a couple, but someone picked up a lot and added them to their display of seashells.

Maybe I will try a little blogging again, if I can remember how. We arrived at South Padre Island Jan. 6, coming a little earlier than planned because of the weather in KS. Thought we'd better get out while we could. Weather has been up and down here. Beautiful here today, maybe 75 or 80. I was talking on the phone with Jan a couple of nights ago when this ship went by, so I just had to share. Maybe my grandkids would be interested in seeing what I am seeing. Stephanie has said, "How many photos of seagulls can you take?" I kind of feel that way about ships, but I still take some pics. It's just not something we see a lot of in KS.
